If you can’t get a date – get a dog.
One of the oldest tricks in the Tinder book is to be posing with a dog in your profiler, but this was based on little more than anecdotal wisdom.
This week, a survey of over 1,200 dating website Match.com users conducted by Anthrozoos confirmed that an affinity with animals really does make you more desirable.
35% of the survey’s respondents said that they’ve been more attracted to someone simply because they have a pet. It also works on men, but to a lesser extent, with just over a quarter of the men saying the same.
So there you have it. Pets will make you more desirable to whoever it is you want to desire you – but remember that a dog is for life, not just for a dating gambit.
