A 53-year-old woman from New Orleans was given quite the send-off as she went to meet her maker, with her daughters arranging a ‘last party’ for her funeral.
Miriam Marie ‘Mae Mae’ Burbank died on June 1st but her daughters wanted to do something different for her funeral.
Funeral planners decided to prop her up with a cigarette and a glass of beer.
A disco ball, crossword puzzle and Saints helmet also featured in the set-up, as Burbank shuffled off this mortal coil in some style.
