No you’re not drunk, this really happened.
We’ve all suffered the frustration that comes from having a pint glass knocked over but usually we can channel our anger towards a rowdy patron that barged us in the back or a clumsy friend who shook the table.
This wasn’t the case though in this bizarre incident that took place at Barney Mac’s bar in Drogheda recently.
It remains unconfirmed whether or not the bar is built on an ancient haunted burial ground or if the land was used as the location for some demonic exorcisms but this footage of a patrons exploding pint is very odd.
We’re not exactly calling Mulder and Scully in on this one yet, we wager that the glass was extremely warm after coming out of the dishwasher – causing it to expand – before the cold pint of Smithwicks was pored into it causing contraction and the glass to break but it’s still a cool clip.
Don’t let science get in the way of some great footage though and keep your eye on the middle table throughout.
