If you rang your mates in the middle of the night looking for help would they run to the rescue or tell you to f**k off and just go back to sleep? Carlsberg wanted to find out…
Here’s a great advert from the Danish brewers Carlsberg, which separates the mates from the casual acquaintances. A group of lads are asked to ring their mates in the middle of the night pretending they got into a spot of bother. They tell their sleepy headed mates that they’re stuck for cash and need it ASAP.
The video then shows you what the mates had to go through in order to get to their fallen comrade and it ends with an unexpected (but slightly predictable) twist. It’s a great ad and it begs the question, ‘would you do the same for your mates?’ Let us know in the poll below…
