This could have been very ugly…
We’ve all been in the situation before where we find ourselves having to jump out of the car for a split second but it could have been so costly for this driver, who did so, but forgot to do one very important thing before leaving the vehicle.
JOE reader Dan sent us in this footage of his sister, who forgot to put her handbrake on as she parked outside McGowan’s bar in Phibsborough on Saturday.
Apparently she only popped into the bar for two minutes to pick up some ice but was surprised to see that her car was gone when she returned.
Dan informs us that the only damage done was a few scrapes to the car along with a lot of sibling abuse.
Fair play to all the motorists though who managed to steer clear of the incoming danger.
