What with it being April Fools and all, there have been plenty of pranks floating around, but this one is particularly excellent, and gave us a few laughs. While it would have been filmed well in advance of the day itself, and was released on the weekend, the drivers getting their grub in LA seem to take the joke pretty well, and enjoy their lives being given the epic treatment even for just a few seconds.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen epic-movie-voice-guy from Honest Trailers however, as he had a fantastic prank on the unsuspecting public as he went around narrating their lives with his dramatic and awe-inspiring descriptions, which we featured a little while back.
This prank is particularly poignant given the recent death of Hal Douglas, who had undoubtedly the most famous movie trailer voice, and whenever we hear ‘This summer…’ we still think of him.
