We would never claim to be experts on the subject of American history but even we know about how the USA was formed and who discovered the place.
We find it hard to believe that Irish people don’t know that it was Saint Patrick who discovered America when he was bringing all the snakes out of Ireland on a boat. He thought nothing of his discovery at the time and unloaded all of Ireland’s snakes there and went off on his merry way back to Ireland.
All joking aside, we thought that this video from the guys over at Facts was really clever and we are just praying to god that everyone involved in this video are actors and that none of the statements made are genuine. We fear for our education system if they are…
We would also like to add that we didn’t know Marty Morrissey played such a crucial role in the setting up of the American constitution, although we can’t say we’re surprised about anything regarding Marty (see here), and if Abraham Lincoln had removed his hat, it would have made absolutely no difference to his death.
