Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has tonight released a video explaining how an inadvertent racial slur made it into the public domain.
The 54-year-old was caught on camera mumbling the n-word while reciting a nursery rhyme while recording an episode of the popular motoring show in 2013.
A contrite Clarkson explains that he mumbled his way through two versions of ‘Eenie-meenie-miny-mo’ – in which the n-word was traditionally used – before settling on a PC version that went to broadcast.
