The boss got a bit of a soaking earlier.
Niall McGarry, founder of both JOE.ie and our sister site Her.ie, took on the Ice Bucket Challenge in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Niall has put up €500 for the IMNDA, and pledged another €500 if the editorial staff at JOE – that being us (gulp) – strip down to our Ronaldo-style banana hammocks and follow suit on Monday.
Niall has also nominated FAI chief executive John Delaney, his Mayo GAA brethren in the shape of the O’Shea brothers – Aidan, Conor and Séamus – and former Munster and Ireland star Jerry Flannery.
Oh, and let’s not forget Spiderman and Pat the Baker. Pat will not be happy.
