There’s a time and a place for everything, but doing doughnuts in the middle of the day outside the courthouse on Letterkenny Main Street certainly isn’t one of them…
According to the Donegal Daily, the driver in question is “from the North [and] was in Letterkenny to watch the Donegal Rally.”
The video has caused a bit of a commotion on social networks with a lot of people saying that the incident was dangerous, idiotic and downright stupid, while others are saying it was only a bit of fun.
Speaking about the video, Gardaí said: “The behaviour on display is extremely dangerous and we will make every effort to bring all those involved before the courts.”
The Donegal Daily goes on to report that the man who made the video tagged the name of the driver on Facebook and as the number plate is clearly visible at the end of the video, we can only assume that the driver in question will be heading back to the courthouse on Letterkenny Main Street in the not too distant future.
