She asks him not to go too fast around the Laguna Seca track in California. Unfortunately her driver son is wearing a helmet at the time and doesn’t appear to hear her.
Well at least that’s the excuse he can give later – in reality speed freak Darius Khashabi, the man in question, is thoroughly enjoying the chance to scare the bejaysus out of his mammy in his Corvette C6 ZO6.
“Calm down, I’m going slow,” he tells her.
She’s not convinced and demonstrates so by hanging on for dear life and emitting the occasional scream.
Clearly she’s not au fait with the phrase “scream if you wanna go faster”.
She’s also not aware she has been filmed until the end of her experience in the passenger seat.
This clip is a bit long at over 12 minutes, but as an example of what to do if you’d rather that your mother didn’t keep pestering you for a lift, it can’t be beaten.
