As far as music videos about mattresses go, this is right up there with the best of them.
The word ‘mattress’ comes from the Arabic word ‘matrah’ which means ‘something thrown down’ and that’s exactly what Mick has done here. He has thrown down a stomping dance beat which is sure to fill the floors of raves and clubs in Ibiza in no time…….sort of. Check it out here:
Whether you like Mick or not, you cannot deny his omnipresence and at the very least, he has heightened awareness about mattresses everywhere. Lest we forget the mattresses of yesteryear who are gone and left our world with nothing so much as a peep. The mattresses of today will never suffer that fate thanks to Mick and memory foam.
