Paddy Magee has been away in Australia for five long years, and hadn’t told his mam and dad in Fermanagh that he was coming home to Ireland for Christmas.
Dressed in a Santa outfit and pretending to be ‘Jacob,’ Paddy’s mam lost her reason entirely at the sight of her boy coming to the door.
His dad’s reaction is equally good.
Now, as Paddy says himself, “It’s time to have a damn proper Christmas! Hot whiskeys, turkey, cold weather, shite jumpers, home cooking, more hot whiskeys and family and all the rest that goes with it.”
