In a country where the penalty for robbery is having a limb cut off, this Saudi man shows bravery and more importantly incompetence in this robbery fail.
This video has surfaced online of a poor attempt to break into a store, with the man in question attempting on three different occasions to get in before finally giving up the ghost.
After a quick bit of research into the Saudi system – there are varying opinions online not surprisingly – even if the man was caught, he would not face the death penalty as it wasn’t an armed robbery. But it could really have cost him an arm and a leg.
Rape, murder, apostasy, armed robbery and drug trafficking are all punishable by death under Saudi Arabia’s strict Islamic laws, so you have to ‘hand’ it to the Saudi man, he had a lucky escape.
