What a fantastic gesture.
Christmas is a time to think of those less fortunate and while most of us will be spending the festive season with our families and friends, many homeless people won’t be so lucky.
With that in mind, JOE reader Ben Kealy and his friends Evan Orsmond and Josh Byrne (behind the camera) decided to do what they could to help.
They gathered up vouchers and made up boxes of food, clothes and water as presents, which they brought to homeless people on the streets of Dublin as a surprise just days before Christmas.
Not only that, but they took time out to talk to the homeless people they met along the way and it is clear that their very generous gestures were very much appreciated.

Fair play to the boys for such a selfless and thoughtful gesture; at this time of year, help like this is appreciated more than ever.
