This is pure quality.
The best man speech is a very precise art form. You have to slag your mate just enough to get the crowd on your side, but you can’t go so far that people end up getting genuinely offended.
You also have to be sappy enough to suit the occasion, but not enough that you end up spiralling into a flood of tears.
Needless to say, it’s even harder to find this balance when you’re doing it all through song.
