This poor amateur wrestler in the US went for a backflip off the top rope only to come smashing down on his head in what is easily the scariest video we’ve seen this side of Halloween.
A lot of people out there will bash professional wrestling from being nothing but scripted entertainment, and they’d be right to a point. However, sometimes the wrestling doesn’t quite go to plan and near disasters like this can happen.
At least the poor guy’s opponent had the courtesy to see if he was okay, before pinning him for the win. ‘Play to the whistle’ as some might say.
