This will put a smile on your face.
Paddy Barrett from Liscarroll in County Cork has sent us in this video of his interaction with Jacksie, his donkey.
It starts with some incredible braying and just gets better.
“My father and mother founded the Donkey Sanctuary in Ireland,” Paddy told JOE.
“I was raised with this sanctuary as it blossomed. I have three sisters and, as I was the youngest of the family, I didn’t want to be playing with them as they were girls.
“I was always outside playing in the fields with the donkeys. I used to hear them bray so I tried to bray as well getting their attention.
“The donkey in the video is Jacksie.
“He was hand-reared by a bottle, due to his mother rejecting him. The staff and I all helped out with this.
“It’s a sure sign that an animal never forgets. I no longer work there so it’s lovely to pop in and have a chat with all the donkeys, especially Jacksie.”
