Even if you’re a law abiding citizen and you pay all your bills on time as they arrive, you probably still get a little sweaty and nervous when the TV licence man knocks on the door.
You know you’ve done nothing wrong but you feel like you have, similar to the way you feel when you walk by the Gardaí in the street or pull up beside them in the car, you feel self-conscious that you may be breaking the law.
Most people who don’t pay their TV Licence will claim that they don’t have a telly when the inspector comes a knocking…
If you’re quite the accomplished liar than that tactic might work for you, but you could end up like the guy in the video below. TV Licence inspectors are taking no sh*t this year…
But of course you could just pay the TV Licence and save yourself from a dramatic failure of your antiperspirant when the inspector rattles on your door.
