We imagine it went something like this:

Mary: Grand, just got a perm and bought a jacket with killer shoulder pads. Watching Glenroe now, yourself?
Jim: Grand, off to mass and then the Spandau Ballet gig. They’re so cool. Did you see Johnny Logan on the Late Late Show. He’s some man. Fancy meeting at the Discotheque?
Mary: Yeah, but I have to be home by 11 or else my ma will hit me with the wooden spoon.
Profile’s definitely looked like this.

Now with this video you don’t even have to imagine what the dating app would look like because Tinder as seen through the eyes of ’80s technology is class.
Prepare to see some dodgy graphics, dial-up modems and cringey profilers.
