This incredible footage has to be seen to be believed and it might make cat haters think twice before they bad-mouth another feline…
Roger Triantafilo uploaded the video below to YouTube yesterday and it has already racked up nearly 4,500,000 views. That’s not surprisingly really, as a small cat fending off a large dog is a relatively rare sight, but an absolutely incredible one at that.

Here’s what Roger had to say on YouTube: “My cat defends my son during a vicious dog attack and runs the dog off before he can do additional damage. Thankfully, my son is fine!”
In case you’re wondering why the mom runs away after her son was attacked, Roger cleared this up by saying: “After checking his wounds she made sure the dog did not return for a second attempt. The owners were there also and she was bit by the dog as she tried to pin him in his yard. The owners did get control of the dog and secured him in which she immediately returned to attending to our son. I did not include that video because it was not so much about the dog but about the cats actions.”
