War Child offers the chance to be a happy camper at Electric Picnic

Win the last spot on the campervan site at Electric Picnic, and help the War Child charity at the same time.

JOE

We don’t normally give a plug to a competition that is nothing to do with us, but  the War Child charity is involved in the one we’re about to tell you about. Plus, what they’re giving away is pretty decent.

War Child Ireland has teamed up with campervan rental company Bunk Campers, to offer a money-can’t-buy prize. The competition offers the winner (and a friend) an all-inclusive VIP weekend at Electric Picnic 2010 (held this year from 3-5 September) including the last spot to the sold out campervan site.

You also get the use of the festival roadie van. We’re not entirely sure what ‘the festival roadie van’ is, but hey, it comes free with the rest of the prize package, so what does it matter?

All money raised as a result of what War Child are calling the Happy Camper competition will go towards providing emergency relief to children in areas of armed conflict.

To enter the competition simply text PICNIC to 57599. Each entry costs €5. You will receive 2 x €2.50 messages and standard network charges apply. You must be 18+ to enter and there is an age restriction of 25+ to drive the campervan. Should you not win the top prize, you’ll still be in with a chance of winning the second prize of two pairs of weekend tickets to Electric Picnic.

The competition closes at 5pm on the 31 August.  Visit www.warchild.ie for full terms & conditions.

And no, the modelling duo of Lynn Kelly and Georgia Tracey seen in the picture above are not included in the prize.
