“Mammy, mammy, I’m being good amn’t I?”
One week into Euro 2016, it’s been clear that the behaviour of the respective supporters at the tournament, as opposed to the actual football, has been the major talking point thus far.
Thankfully, the locals in France can’t seem to get enough of the Irish supporters and their lovably zany antics, but the same quite can’t be said of their Russian and English counterparts.
The attitude to the respective fans is quite neatly summed by Irish comedy trio Foil, Arms and Hog in their latest sketch; no doubt the Irish supporters are going to enjoy the permission to have their ‘fizzy drinks’ for as long as we remain in the tournament.
