Wild Turkey – Smooth and refined cars

You never see a top celebrity drinking tap water or driving a rust bucket of a car for a reason – they want to look cool. So here are three of the slickest motors on the planet.

You never see a top celebrity drinking tap water or driving a rust bucket of a car for a reason – they want to look cool. So here are three of the slickest motors on the planet.

There’s nothing that makes someone look smooth, refined and unequivocally cool quite like a powerful supercar with a boot full sex appeal. There are many expensive breads of motor out there, but none of them are quite as smooth and refined as the following three cars: the Aston Martin One77, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT and the Koenigsegg Agera R.

Here’s why…

Aston Martin One77

The Aston Martin One77 embodies everything you’d expect to find in a world-class supercar and two words precisely define the car: unique and exclusive. The name actually says a lot about the One77. It is drenched in style, power and luxury and the “77” in One77 denotes the number of these beasts currently patrolling the earth. But why didn’t Aston Martin build more than 77 of these gorgeous machines, we hear you ask? Because they knew only the richest of the rich could afford the $1.85m price tag – plus they didn’t want every Tom, Dick and Harry driving around in their masterpiece machine.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT is an undoubtedly masculine and extremely athletic 2-seater. The car looks fit to be permanently placed on the winner’s podium and the GT version gives the SLS AMG a sexy edge that other supercars just don’t have. Like the One77, the SLS AMG GT is an incredibly powerful beast and it was actually built in homage to the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing, so it has the looks, the power and the legendary heritage.

Koenigsegg Agera R

The final car on our list of smooth and refined motors is much more than just a supercar. The Koenigsegg Agera is known as a “hypercar” and there’s a good reason for that. The Agera R can reach 100km/h in just 2.9 seconds, so before you can even say “one-hundred kilometres per hour in two point nine seconds” the Agera R is already doing motorway speeds. It can reach a top speed of 439.3km/h – which is 3.6 times faster than the fastest speed limit in Ireland – and brand new Agera R will set you back roughly $1.5m.

While these cars are smooth, refined and ultimately kickass, like a good bottle of Wild Turkey 81, just remember the two should never be mixed. So never EVER drink and drive…
