The new Parrot MINIKIT Smart is a hands-free docking station and charger for smartphones, which is compatible with all Bluetooth phones including the iPhone.
It allows users to fully benefit from the telephone and navigation capabilities of smartphones. The device is available exclusively in O2 stores for €99.00 and is compatible with all navigation systems currently available on smartphones – free or paid for.
No installation is needed, and once stuck to your dashboard or windscreen and paired with a smartphone via Bluetooth, the MINIKIT Smart synchronises and automatically updates its phonebook. The MINIKIT Smart can store up to 10 different phone books (2,000 contacts per smartphone) and can therefore be used by several drivers.
Thanks to the voice synthesis of the names and a voice recognition system that requires no prior training or installation, the phonebook is available without having to operate the smartphone. To call one of the contacts in the phonebook, press the green button, simply say the name and the MINIKIT Smart will dial the number.
If several numbers are associated to a contact, the MINIKIT Smart will offer the possibilities and user will have to vocally choose one.
