Chances are you’ll enjoy at least one of these.
Listen, not every night can be a winner on the telly. Tonight is one of those nights, when we suggest strongly that you hit up the cinema instead.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is released today, and we review it (and all the other new releases) right here.
If you are insisting on sitting in, then hopefully you can attempt to have fun with one of these:
TUESDAY 2 JULY
Star Trek Into Darkness – E4 – 8pm
The one in which Benedict Cumberbatch is most definitely NOT the big Star Trek baddie Khan… nope. Definitely not.
Taken – FilmFour – 9pm
The original and best, in which we all learned that Liam Neeson has a particular set of skills and is generally not to be messed with.
Street Fighter – Syfy – 9pm
By no means a “good movie”, but definitely worth watching, solely because of just how bad it is. Van Damme is the all-American hero, Kylie Minogue is a British military agent, and if we remember correctly, there isn’t a single street-based fight in the entire movie.
Before I Go To Sleep – FilmFour – 10.50pm
Nicole Kidman suffers from a particular form of amnesia brought on by a horrific attack in her home, but with the help of her husband (Colin Firth) and her therapist (Mark Strong), she begins to remember more about the night in question.
Underworld: Evolution – ITV4 – 11.45pm
The first sequel in the vampires versus werewolves saga, mostly remembered for putting Kate Beckinsale in skin-tight leather, and then handing her a pair of guns to kill things violently with. Fun, but aggressively dumb.
