House of Cards FINALLY returns with Season 3 today over on Netflix, which means we’ll get to see more of the lovely Rachel Brosnahan, aka. Rachel Posner, aka. the call girl who may or may not have – SPOILER ALERT – killed Doug.
So here’s a look at five interesting snippets you may not have know about the American actress.
1. Only supposed to have 5 lines in Season 1
That’s right. Apparently, Rachael’s character, Rachael Posner, was only supposed to have a couple of lines and feature in two episodes, but her performance was so good that House of Cards bosses decided to expand her role.
2. Rachael’s mother, Carol, sounds like great craic

Midleton, specifically, according to ancestral records.
4. Rachel is a Netflix regular, she’s also appeared in Orange Is The New Black
She appeared in an episode as Tricia Miller’s friend before her incarceration.
5. Her boyfriend is some chap called Rason Jalph
Well actually it’s Jason Ralph but he switched the first letters for his Twitter handle so he’s probably mad craic. They have alien-themed, matching bios so it must be love.
