Storm Hannah may have passed, but it still ain’t that nice outside.
Fortunately, there are a few very good options for movie-goers this weekend, including the historic Avengers: Endgame, and Bo Burnham’s wonderful screenwriting debut Eighth Grade.
And after you’ve spent roughly six hours in your local cinema, it’ll be time to come home, hit the couch and… watch another movie of course.
We’ve given you a hand and picked out the best few films that are on the telly tonight. And there are a fair few good ones.
Jurassic Park – ITV2 – 6.40pm
No matter how many times you’ve seen Jurassic Park, you could probably stand to see it at least once more.
Jeff Goldblum in all his glory and a bunch of goddamn dinosaurs. What a concept.
Men In Black 2 – E4 – 7.20pm
The movie responsible for perhaps the greatest ever Will Smith song, ‘Nod Ya Head’.
Smith teams up with Tommy Lee Jones once again to fight aliens while wearing a suit. Very satisfying nostalgia trip.
2001: A Space Odyssey – BBC Two NI – 8.30pm
Doesn’t matter how many times you see this Stanley Kubrick classic, you still won’t understand it.
But hey. Why not try again?
Straight Outta Compton – RTÉ2 – 9.10pm
The biopic of NWA, the rap group that birthed Dr. Dre, Eazy-E and Ice Cube.
Awesome acting, awesome music and an all-round great story.
The Lost Boys – Comedy Central – 9.00pm
From that golden era of 1980s teenage movies, but with added vampires.
Starring Kiefer Sutherland, Jason Patric, Dianne Wiest, Corey Feldman and Corey Haim.
Pearl Harbour – ITV4 – 9.50pm
No matter what Team America says, this is a pretty decent film about one of the most dramatic chapters in history.
Paths of Glory – BBC Two NI – 10.50pm
Another Kubrick classic, this time starring Kirk Douglas.
A French assault on a German position during the First World War ends in disaster, but the general in charge refuses to accept the plan was doomed from the start and demands that three men from the ranks be executed as an example to the rest.
