A Game of Thrones film might be on the cards according to Tywin Lannister himself

JOE has a theory that almost every film can be improved by adding some sort of reference from the utterly brilliant Game of Thrones.

For example, how amazing would Sense and Sensibility be if you added some dragons, white walkers, sword fights or violent blood baths. We’ve never seen Ang Lee’s adaptation of Jane Austen’s book but we imagine that Kate Winslet and Emma Thompson would be running for their lives in our new version.

You can’t improve on perfection though so that’s why we’re delighted to hear that a full length feature film version Game of Thrones film could be made according to Tywin Lannister aka Charles Dance.

In an interview with The Daily Beast, he said: “There’s talk of eventually trying to do a feature film, but I don’t know which of the storylines. There’s so much to cram into a film.”

Can you just imagine how brilliant it would be to see the blood, fire, zombies, swords, arrow, axes and Hodor on a large Imax screen or in decent 3-D?

This isn’t the first time that a film adaptation of the wonderful Song of Fire and Ice series has been mooted as George R.R. Martin previously said, at the season 4 première, that, “The books get bigger and bigger. It might need a feature to tie things up, something with a feature budget, like $100 million for two hours. Those dragons get real big, you know”.

JOE is already writing to Santa asking for this film to made. He’ll probably get killed while trying to escape behind The Wall in the North Pole en route to Hollywood though.
