It is Monday and it is raining so you deserve a night on the couch with a good movie.

If you’re in a movie mood, Prime Video has just added 23 big releases to its library. But if none of those suit, then here are all of the movies you can check out on your telly tonight, starting with…

G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra – FilmFour – 6.25pm

Channing Tatum and Marlon Wayans headline this all-star, big budget adaptation of the hit toy line. The bit in Paris where they blow up the Eiffel Tower is pretty cool.

Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials – BBC Three – 9pm

The middle entry in the Maze Runner series is has a lot more action than the first one, but is also far less interesting, plot-wise.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle – FilmFour – 9pm

The Rock, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan star in this very entertaining update of the game-comes-to-life story.

Mission: Impossible III – Sky Showcase – 9pm

The beginning of when the M:I movies started to get very, very good. With the seventh in the series in cinemas today, now is as good a time as any to go back and watch this hugely fun franchise entry.

All The Money In The World – TG4 – 9.30pm

Ridley Scott directed this true crime kidnapping thriller, with the original cast consisting of Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Williams and Kevin Spacey. However, two months after the movie was done filming, sexual allegations about Spacey broke, so Scott and the movie’s producers decided to reshoot all of Spacey’s scenes with a replacement actor. For his troubles, Christopher Plummer was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the Oscars that year, but it was revealed that Wahlberg was paid $1.5 million to reshoot his scenes with Plummer, while Williams was only paid $1,000 for her scenes to be reshot. At the end of it all, we got a very decent thriller, but the drama behind the scenes was even more interesting than the drama happening in front of the cameras.

Alien 3 – ITV4  – 10pm

We did a deep dive on this movie for its recent 30th anniversary, where we spelled out why this was far from the worst entry in the Alien series.

This is England – FilmFour – 11.20pm

A brilliant, hard-hitting British drama about a young boy who gets drawn into the world of skinhead gangs.

T2 Trainspotting – FilmFour – 1.25am

The long-delayed sequel to the hit original sees the characters all grown up, but not all of them have matured in the way you might expect and/or hope.
