They may play awful, awful people on the show, but the actors of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia are pretty sound.
In the US, prom is a pretty big deal, so imagine one teen’s disappointment when she was kicked out of her prom for wearing a tux.
Aniya Wolf from Pennsylvania was forcibly removed from her prom because her school required all girls to wear a formal dress.
Speaking to ABC 27 the teen said “I’ve just always been like this, ever since I was little,”
“I was always more masculine. You wouldn’t catch me playing with any Barbie dolls, I’ll tell you that right now.”
The story quickly went viral, with an influx of tweets and comments supporting Wolf and her right to wear a suit.
It wasn’t long before the story reached It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s creator and star Rob McElhenney, who showed his support for Wolf in a big way.
McElhenney, who plays Mac on the popular show, tweeted her with a very special message.
Aniya, I love your suit. Would u like to wear it on Sunny? https://t.co/jn01iLrZVe via abc27News

Naturally, Aniya was pretty shocked by the generous offer.
@abc27News I am not. We'll be in Philly the last week of June. We need a little extra style and class. Can you help us?

No word yet on how they’ll write Aniya and her tux into the show. Maybe we’ll get to see Part 2 of Underage Drinking: A National Concern or maybe Aniya will help the gang recycle their trash.
