Super Troopers is easily one of our favourite comedies ever, the film follows the exploits of five Vermont State Troopers who are terrible at their jobs and highly unprofessional to boot. If you haven’t seen it, make sure to get a look sometime soon. We guarantee laughs.
One of our favourites bits from the movie is the ‘Meow’ prank played by the State Troopers on unsuspecting motorists. The prank is pretty straightforward, the guys have to get the word ‘meow’ into their roadside conversation as much as they possibly can. Here’s an example…

The movie was released back in 2001 but people are still stumbling across it and a lad called Jamie from Cork is clearly a new fan if his appearance on The Neil Prendeville Show on Cork’s RedFM this morning is anything to go by.
Barman Jamie called into the show to talk about people who can’t get served in a bar and poor bar staff but he clearly had another agenda.
He somehow managed to get 21 ‘meows’ into the conversation before the presenter and producers of the show call him out on the prank, it’s very funny…
