It’s movie time.
If you’re not outside looking up at the sky tonight, maybe you’d like to watch a movie on TV?
Yes, we’ve got you covered on that front.
Here are the best movies on TV today.
Frozen – BBC One – 6.20pm
I thought this was a Christmas movie, but here we are.
Kong: Skull Island – ITV2 – 6.45pm
The fact that it’s nice and sunny outside means this will have limited appeal.
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues – E4 – 9pm
Honestly not sure how I feel about this movie but it’s certainly not as good as the first one.
I Am Legend – Sky One – 9pm
Please, please, please check this website before watching it.
The Railway Man – Film4 – 9pm
Colin Firth meets his World War II torturer many years later. Not a bad movie by any stretch but it is a competitive night for movies.
Captain America: Civil War – UTV – 9.30pm
Not an Avengers movies but also a better Avengers movie than Age of Ultron.
Die Hard 4.0 – Channel 4 – 9.30pm
Was released under the title Live Free or Die Hard in North America. Good call on changing the name for everywhere else.
If you like the original Die Hard, you’ll probably like this.
Independence Day: Resurgence – RTÉ One – 9.40pm
Big budget sequel to the original. 20 years later, the aliens come back and are meaner – or at least as mean – as ever.
The Imitation Game – RTÉ2 – 9.40pm
Historical drama about the cracking of the enigma code in World War II. Probably the pick of the movies on tonight.
Internal Affairs – BBC One – 11.15pm
Think Line of Duty but in film form.
