Appropriate.

The Magnificent Seven – RTÉ2 – 9pm

A great cast in this remake of a remake.

Clockwise – TG4 – 5.10pm

A 1986 comedy starring John Cleese. Sign us up.

Ocean’s Eleven – TG4 – 9.15pm

Heist movies when done well are generally a lot of fun. This is a well done heist movie.

Sean Connery and Harrison Ford. What is not to like?

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull – BBC One – 6.40pm

Was worried when I saw this coming out initially but it by no means sacrifices the fast action of the original three movies.

Kingsman: The Secret Service – Channel 4 – 9pm

Witty with a fine cast, it’s one of the cleverer movies of this genre.

Fletch – Sky Comedy – 10.35pm

Chevy Chase is brilliant in this comedy about an undercover reporter who is offered a large sum of money by a business man to kill him.

Richie Rich – ITV2 – 2.25pm

Money isn’t everything. But it helps.

Casper – ITV2 – 4.40pm

Watched it growing up and will continue to watch it now out of nostalgia.

Where Eagles Dare – ITV4 – 5.50pm

Action-packed drama as Clint Eastwood and Richard Burton lead a team of elite commandos into Nazi Bavaria to rescue a general. 91% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Home Alone – Film4 – 6.50pm

Poor parenting and also poor thievery.

Snatched – Film4 – 9pm

Fans of Trainwreck will enjoy this Amy Schumer movie.
