Considering how much money each of these movies have made, chances are you’ve seen each and every one of them.
Or, if you haven’t seen them, you DEFINITELY heard of them!
So, at the time of writing, there are 49 movies that have made over one billion dollars at the worldwide box office – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One missed out ever so slightly with $977 million! – so the question is, how many can you name?
To make things a little bit easier, we’ve done the following:
- Listed them in order of box office ranking, so the first answer is the biggest box office hit of all time
- Given a hint to the type of movie each of the answers are
- The titles won’t need any dashes or semi-colons, so (for example) Spider-Man: No Way Home can be written as just Spiderman No Way Home
- Movies with particularly long titles, we’ll accept just the second half, so (for example) The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, we’ll take An Unexpected Journey
- Numeric titles are all in numbers, so it would be Toy Story 3 (instead of Toy Story III or Toy Story Three)
