Coronation Street actor Bruno Langley has been charged with the sexual assault of a woman in Manchester at the beginning of October.
ITV sacked the 34-year-old actor, who played Todd Grimshaw on the show for 17 years, after the charges came to light.
The Greater Manchester Police confirmed that Langley had been charged in a statement on their website, revealing that Langley is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 30s in a Manchester music venue.

“Bruno Langley has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and will appear at Manchester magistrates court on Tuesday 28 November 2017.
“At around 1am on Sunday 1 October 2017, police received a report that a woman in her 30s had been sexually assaulted at a music venue on Swan Street in the Northern Quarter.”
