Who doesn’t like a good scare? From the director of Saw comes The Conjuring

Haunted house movies have been done to death, but The Conjuring appears to take it to a new level. Often it is the unseen forces that cause the most scares, but what about if you can see just a little bit of the thing that is scaring you… like its hands, for instance.
Starring Patrick Wilson (Insidious), Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air) and Lili Taylor (Six Feet Under), The Conjuring tells the story of a family living in a New England home haunted by some sort of demonic entities.
The family hire paranormal activity investigators Ed (Wilson) and Lorraine (Farmiga) to inspect their farmhouse. The investigators quickly realise that they are dealing with something far more ominous than they’ve ever witnessed before, and must figure out how to stop it before the violent attacks become deadly.
The Conjuring is directed by ‘Splat Pack’ member James Wan, one of a group of new directors making brutally violent films. He wrote and directed Saw, wrote Saw III, and directed Insidious. Expect terrifying things so.
The Conjuring is released on July 19 in Ireland.
