A strange and completely fake interview with film star Drew Barrymore has gone viral, and it’s being discussed all over the internet.
The profile piece, published in EgyptAir’s magazine Horus, became famous this week after journalist Adam Baron tweeted images of the story on Tuesday, calling it “surreal”.

The story itself, with the byline Aida Tekla, is filled with wild statements, spelling errors and appears to focus on Barrymore’s ‘decision’ to abandon acting in favour of motherhood.
Barrymore has denied ever participating in the interview in a statement to Huffington Post.
