It’s one of the biggest shows on the planet and it’s probably right that some of the main characters will be paid accordingly to reflect that.
Deadline are reporting that after some protracted contract negotiations, the lead cast of HBO’s big-hitting drama, Game Of Thrones have landed major salary increases.
The series, which continues to break it’s own viewer records in the States with a reported 7.2m watching a recent episode in this season’s run, is one of the most successful TV shows of all time.
Cast members such as Peter Dinklage (pic above), Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau are all in line for a whopping $300k per episode. That’s some serious wonga right there lads.
