Mother of dragons, she’s fantastic.
Some of the actors that star in Game of Thrones have become so intrinsically linked to the characters that they play in the show that it’s almost impossible to separate Westeros from the real world. For example, our esteemed editor Paddy McKenna was once petrified of Roose Bolton (Irish actor Michael McElhatton) after he bumped into him at a coffee shop – it must have something to do with all those flayings.
Emilia Clarke seems like she’s the contrary though because Clarke’s not only a queen in the show but also in real life. We’ve already told you about how the Khaleesi never seems like she takes herself too seriously, her Instagram account is fantastic and this appearance on Graham Norton is hilarious, and her recent appearance on Conan is further proof of this.
Despite the fact that she’s a huge star on the world’s biggest show and has been consistently voted as the sexiest woman alive, it seems that the incredibly sound actress is happy to play second fiddle to some of her Game of Thrones colleagues.
