Start putting the dates in your festive diary.
We’re now only four days away from Christmas and while we’re sure many of you will remain professional right up until you’re officially on holidays, others have unofficially clocked off and are thinking about all the movies they’re going to watch over the next week or so.
You may have already set eyes upon the films that will be on RTÉ over the festive period and if that wasn’t quite enough to sate your appetite, then TV3 have thrown a few more offerings into the mix.
The ones jumping off the page at us from TV3’s festive schedule are Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and the timeless classic Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on Christmas Eve and The Commitments for anyone not out on the town on St. Stephen’s night.

The Snapper and The Butcher Boy, meanwhile, represent two classic Irish offerings, while action movie fans prepared to stay up late will be excited at the thought of a date with Jean Claude van Damme and Universal Soldier on December 29.
