The theme

320 children are set to join Ryan Tubridy on The Toy Show tonight and the show will be taking its inspiration from one of the most beloved Disney musicals of all time – The Jungle Book.

Students from IADT Dun Laoghaire have been working on a top secret project since summer to help create some of the jungle creatures that will feature in the opening performance. Waterford’s Spraoi have also supplied parts of the set.

As always, a number of charities have been invited to nominate children to experience the wonders of The Late Late Toy Show set in advance of tonight’s show. This year children from: Laura Lynn Children’s Hospice; Heart Children Ireland; Our Lady’s Children Hospital, Crumlin; Barretstown and Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation will get to enjoy a sneak preview of the set and play with the toys. Their visit to the set will be captured on camera and broadcast during the show.
