Here’s where to watch the Oscars tonight if you’re in Ireland

Carl Kinsella

Between the time difference, exclusive regional online streams and the bloody thing being held on a Sunday night, it’s sort of like the Oscars gods don’t want Irish people watching.

If you are interested in (legally) catching tonight’s ceremony, it’s being hosted on Sky Cinema. The pre-show, which began at 11.30pm is being hosted by Alex Zane, and the ceremony proper begins at 1.30am on the 27th of February Ireland time.

For those in the audience who’ve got a VPN, ABC.com is streaming the entire thing online.

If you’re not tech-savvy or you haven’t got Sky Cinema RTÉ2 will, as always, be showing highlights from the ceremony, starting at 9.30pm on a Monday.
