The interview was labeled “embarrassing and cringy” by viewers.
Irish Twitter users that are fascinated by Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey’s case weren’t shy about making their feelings known about Ray D’Arcy’s recent interview with Dean Strang – one half of Steven Avery’s legal team as seen in Netflix’s documentary ‘Making A Murderer’.
412,000 people tuned in to watch D’Arcy discussing a trail that has fascinated people all over the world but most were left disappointed by an interview that some people felt was lacking in research, a relevant line of questioning and overall focus.
RTÉ have already issued a statement but The Irish Sun have just obtained an exclusive statement from Dean Strang.

Speaking with journalist Barry Moran, the lawyer has said that the segment was “fine” especially when compared to “the standards applicable to US media. I am accustomed to much worse. He and his crew treated me really well.”
