Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins have quit as hosts of the The Great British Bake Off, following the decision of Love Productions to move to Channel 4 from the BBC.
Piers Morgan broke the news on Tuesday evening, although he deleted the tweet shortly afterwards.
It has since been confirmed by Channel 4.
