Some very good crime thrillers, sci-fi epics, survival horrors and rom-coms in the mix tonight!
Not sure what to watch tonight? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. One of the best mystery shows of recent years has returned for a second season (more on that here), or if you’re in a movie mood, there is a huge new action movie added to Netflix:

But also, here are all of the best, worst and most in-between’y movies all on the TV this evening:
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald – ITV2 – 6.25pm
The second of the prequels. Its actually kinda dull, tbh.
Infinite – FilmFour – 9pm
Mark Wahlberg headlines this action sci-fi flop. Also kinda dull, tbh.
Fast & Furious 8 – ITV2 – 9pm
The one where Charlize Theron kinda forces Vin Diesel to become the bad guy. It has a big submarine chase. Quite a bit of fun, if not as good as 5 or 7.
Just Mercy – RTÉ One – 9.35pm
Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Foxx, Brie Larson and O’Shea Jackson Jr. feature in this compelling death row prison drama.

Maria de Medeiros, one of the many stars of Pulp Fiction, our big pick for tonight
When Harry Met Sally – BBC Three – 9.50pm
One of the best rom-coms of all time, with Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal trying and failing to keep things platonic.
It’s Complicated – Comedy Central Extra – 10pm
Not as good a rom-com, but still pretty decent, with Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin as exes who start to fall in love with each other all over again.
Pulp Fiction – RTÉ2 – 10pm
Our pick for the night is Pulp Fiction, widely regarded to be one of the greatest movies ever made. Quentin Tarantino amasses John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis, Uma Thurman, Tim Roth, Ving Rhames and loads more for his sprawling crime epic. With the rumours that Tarantino’s upcoming (and final) movie being a bit of a mini-Pulp Fiction reunion, now is the perfect time to go back and (re)watch this masterpiece.
Pulp Fiction is available to stream on Paramount+ or with a NOW Cinema Membership.
Marley & Me – Virgin Media One – 10pm
Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson feature in this “comedy” about a couple and their dog.
21 Bridges – BBC One – 10.40pm
The late Chadwick Boseman headlines this action thriller who shuts down the entire island of Manhattan to find two suspected cop killers. We chatted to the actor about his role in the movie, and you can check out that interview right here:
A.I.: Artificial Intelligence – FilmFour – 11pm
One of Spielberg’s most underrated movies, telling the story of a robot (Haley Joel Osmand) who goes on an epic journey across a semi-ruined Earth in order to become a real boy.
Finding Your Feet – RTÉ One – 12.05am
Imelda Staunton, Joanna Lumley and Timothy Spall star in this decent romantic drama about a long-married woman who discovers her husband has had an affair.
Happy Death Day – Channel 4 – 12.10am
What if Groundhog Day was a horror movie? This is the very entertaining answer to that question.
The Shallows – FilmFour – 1.50am
Blake Lively stars mostly on her own in this brilliantly tense shark attack movie.
