Mrs. Brown’s Boys is going out LIVE on the BBC this weekend

Conor Heneghan

Expect swearing.

It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but there’s no denying the massive popularity that Mrs. Brown’s Boys enjoys at home, across the pond in the United Kingdom and around the world.

Brendan O’Carroll’s sitcom about a foul-mouthed Dublin mammy and her family is always among the most-watched shows in Ireland and the UK – particularly at Christmas – and is likely to pull in the crowds again when a live show goes out on BBC One this Saturday, July 23.

Fans of the show will know that the language can be a bit risqué at times so if you’re tuning in with kids this weekend, be prepared to block their ears at a moment’s notice because there will be no swear filter or five-second delay to spare more conservative viewers.

BBC One, 9.45pm this Saturday, folks.
