Another great episode…
Since Peter Fooot’s film The Young Offenders was released in 2016, the Irish public have been obsessed with antics of Conor and Jock.
After the news that a spin-off TV show was being made, expectations were high and it was always going to be difficult for them to live up to them, but so far they’ve done it in spades.

In the latest episode, the pair set out to woo their love interests and after a rocky start, which involved stolen bikes and an awkward moment on a bridge, the pair began to connect with their dates.
Just cos of the height… we got confused

There was even a poignant moment at Jock’s mother’s graveyard where the group performed a pretty decent version of With Or Without You, and we swear to god, we weren’t emotional at the end of that episode *runs to phone our mammy*

Ah come on now, can’t we just agree they’re both great shows?
For all the hype Derry Girls is getting, The Young Offenders is by far the better show. Better characters and storylines, and some continuing plots throughout the series.
