In case you didn’t see it above, there’s a MASSIVE SPOILER ALERT contained within this piece.
Last night, millions of people were glued to their TV screens as the identity of Lucy Beale’s murderer was revealed on Eastenders on the show’s 30th anniversary.
Much like when Mr. Burns was shot in The Simpsons, pretty much everyone was a suspect at some stage and also much like The Simpsons, it was one of the younger members of cast that was guilty.
In this case it was (remember that MASSIVE SPOILER ALERT)…
11-year old Bobbie Beale!
The revelation prompted quite the reaction on Twitter last night and some folk targeted their ire towards an 19-year old American lady named Bobbie Beale, who was confused as to why she was getting so much attention last night.
@BobbieBeale why did you kill lucy?

It’s a good job she didn’t kill Lucy either, for Lucy is the name of her own dog.
The most amazing thing about that story is that Lucy is the name of her dog. THE NAME OF HER DOG.

At least now somebody knows how poor Jordan Henderson felt last weekend…
