Pic: And the character who’s had the most screen time on Game of Thrones is…

He mightn’t be the biggest or strongest character in the show, but he's carried more presence than anyone else in Game of Thrones so far.

He mightn’t be the biggest or strongest character in the show, but he’s carried more presence than anyone else in Game of Thrones so far.

You’ve probably guessed by now that the character in question is Tyrion Lannister, the hard-drinking, wise-cracking, occasionally womanising dwarf who is constantly looked down upon by his own family but is easily one of the most likeable characters in the HBO series.

According to the graph below, Tyrion has appeared on screen more than any other character in the series to date and while the graph only takes into account Seasons 1-3, his prominent role in the most recent season means he would probably maintain that position if the graph also incorporated Season Four.

Unfortunately (SPOILER ALERT), the same could not be said for a few members of the Stark family after the events of the Red Wedding, but up until that they had been doing pretty well in terms of screen time, as had Cersei Lannister and the lovely Daenerys Targaryen, who were also pretty visible in the last series.

Now all we need is a graph of the kill count that the respective characters have racked up to date, although we doubt if there’s a one big enough to account for the amount of sheer bloody murder that’s taken place to date and no doubt will continue when the show resumes next year.

We can’t wait.
